Final Portfolio

Basically my portfolio is about my major, I am going for digital media but basically i want to go for Photography, i haven't yet taken a photography class yet here at nccc but i plan on it next year since it will be my last year. Hopefully i want to transfer to a four year school such as UB or Buffalo state to move toward my goal. I have loved photography every since i was little and got my first camera. This year in Web Technology class i have learned some pretty interesting things such as creating my own websites and learning about different facts in the text book. I recommend this class to anyone it will be very helpful. My photography in my portfolio contains black and white and colored pictures, i love to take black and white pictures. edit them and make them look sharper. For my career in the  future i want to work for someone as a side job or maybe start my own business but yet i know that it is alot of work to start your own business. Basically on my contacts page of my portfolio i added my GMail which is Krstkn9@GMail.com and i didn't put any personal information such as my personal facebook page or my phone number or address i added my resume without my personal information also my education such as college experience and my recent jobs and my volunteer work also.

My video is yet to be completed but i am working on it to make it ready for show, my tutorial will just be a jing due to the lack of people in my group so i will just be doing my own tutorial where i will talk about how second life works and what you can do with and how you interact with others and like i said in blog 2 i will just be showing everyone how to pretty much interact with your machinima.

Second life is a style of learning where someone can control your own (machinima) ans how you can interact with other machinima's around the world people can chat and email each other also.

#16 Buliding My Digital Portfolio

How to plan on building my digital portfolio, my career consists of photography in some sort of way. I would like to either have my own business or on the side. Some of the programs that i learned to help me move forwards towards my career such as Jing, Jing helps you capture and image in your computer screen and save it. I would use a great deal of knowledge from my text book for my career such as knowing about the spam and viruses that come about on your computer that you don't even know about, and also hoe it explained about the different little  things that i did not know before.
   I am going to use Word press and maybe a couple more sites that will help me work towards my portfolio.

There are other Internet traffic and information which is called peering. An Internet telephony as we were introduced to a circuit switching technologies that you can maintain telephone calls all over the public network.

Chapter 3 131-151

 Browser searches as we learned in a previous chapter, address bar searches. Its pretty simple to look things up how a days. All you have to do is pretty much type what you want in am address bar and it will automatically search for you. There are many different options that you can choose from would be if you wanted to go click on the more advanced address bar. Specialized searches are what people use for a business search such as white and yellow pages directory. There are news and current event searches such as Msn, yahoo,and major news wire. Services such as the Associated press, UPI and more. Your video and social media searches would be examples of Google video, clip blast, and yahoo video.  There are many specialized search engines sometimes called social media categories such as technology, google blog search, digg and newsvine are used to search resources.

Networking Basics as you know is a computer network that makes it possible to share data with each other and networks resources such as an Internet connection. Local area networks that are discussed before in a recent chapter is a computer network supporting users in a small geographical area. Each user that has an Internet connection on a LAN is called a node, these nodes are configured to a peer to peer client. IN metropolitan area, networks, they connect to servers and clients that is larger than a single office or building. There are many types of topologies which is a connection to all nodes on a peer LAN with a single cable. There is another which is called ring and star topology which both connect to a separate node to a central device or hub that transmits or passes directly to that destination. Another technique we also learned about in another chapter would be transmission media, this is a network that is a cable and wireless media such as coaxial twisted pair and fiber optic cable infrared transmissions, one example of that would be a blue tooth that RF technology that sends and receives wireless between devices.
